Happy 2020 everyone! Either you decided to try vegan January or not this year, I highly recommend you pick up a new habit and this is juicing!
I’m sharing with you not just the benefits of Juicing, but also some of my delicious recipes.
Did you know that juices are fiber-free, meaning faster absorption of nutritions? Also, Juices offers the ability to consume extra servings of fruits & vegetables, also great for detoxing and situations where the body finds it hard to break down fibers. This can be a great solution to give your digestive system a break. ⠀
I have started to incorporate a fresh juice into my morning ( breakfast) routine. After I woke up, I started my day with a glass of water and followed by a cup of coffee than it’s breakfast time. I swapped my breakfast for a cold press or ate something light if I feel like chowing on something. I love smoothies, so to have only liquid for breakfast wasn’t a significant change for me.
Green juices are the rock stars of the health world. They condense several servings of fruit, vegetables, and other superfoods into a single, easy-to-consume drink. Because so much is packed into one drink, green juices are incredibly nutrient-dense and have an impressive list of health benefits.
I don’t have an exact measurement of the ingredients just do as I feel like each day. I usually prefer my juices on the sweet side and the pineapple is probably the star of this juice.
- green apples
Sunrise cold press
This is probably my favorite blend packed with all the vitamins that can help improve skin issues and hair grow. Did you know that Carrots contain vitamin A, which stimulates sebum production that conditions your scalp and helps combat hair loss along as vitamin C, which has healing properties? It helps skin recover faster from external wounds and trauma. Beta-carotene in carrots also reduces skin inflammation, which speeds the healing process.
I’ve selected a handful of everyday ingredients and created red cabbage juice recipes. In addition to the cabbage, each juice contains another vegetable and a fruit. These additional ingredients tone down the strong sharp flavor of the cabbage, adding sweetness and improving the overall flavor of the juice.
- red cabbage
- cucumber, unpeeled
- pears, unpeeled, use a sweet variety such as Conference
